What a delightful find! I visited this lovely establishment on a rainy Wednesday evening, and it was such a cosy spot to escape the dreariness outside. The interior was warm and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating and charming decor. I ordered their famous burger, and it did not disappoint; it was juicy and packed with flavour, served with crispy chips that were just perfect. The staff here are wonderful—so welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. I really appreciated their recommendations, especially the local ales, which were fantastic. The only thing I would suggest is that they could update their dessert menu; there were only a couple of options available, and I was in the mood for something sweet after such a great meal! Overall, I had a fantastic experience and will surely be back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a pub with character and great food!

I can’t recommend this pub enough! It has such a warm and welcoming vibe, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day. I visited with my partner last Friday, and we were both impressed by the extensive drink menu. The staff were incredibly friendly and offered great recommendations. I had the vegan shepherd's pie, which was honestly one of the best I’ve ever tasted! It was hearty and packed with flavour. My partner had the classic fish and chips, and even though I’m not a fan of fish, I couldn’t resist trying a bite—it was so good! The only minor thing was the wait time for our food, but we were enjoying the atmosphere, so it didn’t really bother us. We will definitely be returning, especially for the live music nights I’ve heard so much about!

I recently visited this charming pub with some friends, and I can honestly say it was one of the best evenings out I’ve had in a while! We grabbed a table near the fireplace, which added to the overall ambience. I decided to try their homemade steak and ale pie, and it was simply fantastic! The meat was tender, and the gravy was rich and flavourful. My friends opted for the fish and chips, which they said was excellent as well. The beer selection is impressive, with a variety of local ales and some classic favourites on tap. I appreciate that they also have some lighter options for those who may not want a full meal; next time, I might try one of their delectable-looking desserts. The only minor drawback was the service, which was a bit slow at times, especially when it got busier. However, the staff were friendly and attentive when they made their rounds. All in all, this place is a fantastic spot for a relaxed dinner or a casual drink with friends. I’ll definitely be returning soon, perhaps for their live music nights, which I've heard are quite popular!

I popped into this local pub last weekend, and I’m really glad I did! The atmosphere was lively, with a friendly crowd and some great background music. I had a pint of craft beer that was refreshing and well-served. The staff were quick to help and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work, which is always a good sign. I only had a light snack, but the menu looked promising with plenty of hearty options. I plan to return soon for dinner; I just wish they had more seating available, as it can get a bit packed on weekends.
